The series of events.

Jack and Jill went to get the water. As they were walking up the hill, they decided to talk with one another. Jack told Jill how the voices had been talking to him for months now. They told him that he had to kill Jill soon. Jack didn't want to listen, but it was to much to handle.
Jill, realizing she was in danger, grabbed Jack, assaulted him, and then threw him down the hill. The physical trauma that Jack sustained was to much for him, and he died as a result from his wounds.
