Hello, I need to email support and this is where I'm directed. I'm also assuming that this is the only place to contact anyone regarding my account. I logged into Admin to find that my PAID account expired a few days ago, and I got no warning or anything and what I'm a little miffed about is all the smilies I had up are now gone. I've had a box for many years and paid for it all along, so what's up with this? I'm very disappointed, SayBox... sorry, but you've let me down. Pete

Emails should go out automatically, to the account on file. I'll doublecheck and make sure this is still working - but are you sure the reminder didn't end up in your junk mail folder?
How many smilies did you have? We don't typically keep, or restore, account backups, but we may have a copy somewhere left over from the recent server transfers.

Hi Renegade,
Thank you for your quick response and for your offer to try and fix this.
The last email I received from you was on 6/21/09, a three day notice to purchase a subscription continuance. Your emails do not end up in my spam folder (I checked there anyways). It seems I simply did not get an email.
If you cannot find it, don't worry about it. I realized I was long over due to change the smilies anyways.
Should I go ahead and continue my subscription or wait for you to complete your search of the missing smilies, etc?
Thanks a bunch... I do appreciate your help,
Pete

If you're planning on resubscribing, then yes, go ahead and make the payment, and i'll add on some extra time to it for you If you were thinking of changing your smilies anyway, this would save me a lot of work the backup we have is one huge backup of everything on the server, all packed into one file, which means that to restore anything from it i have to unpack the whole thing and find the right data for your account. I will look into what happened to the email - the most likely cause is that whne we moved servers, the script that sends renewal emails broke itself. that wasn't meant to happen, of course Also note that the auto refresh on paid accounts is currently disabled, but we plan on restoring this within the next day or two

OK, I'm planning on subscribing... I will do it as soon as I'm at my other computer (couple hours from now). Don't go looking for anything.... I will just add new smilies. It's easier for us all.. lol. And Thank you for the added care you've given me because of this problem. I appreciate it!!

Thanks for the payment. It looks like there's some other weird bug affecting your account right now, which is stopping the subscription taking effect even if I start it manually. We're working on fixing that as a priority.

Okay, the subscription and your extra time are credited correctly now Hopefully that's that fixed.

Thanks a Bunch !! I appreciate everything you did to get things back on track, and the extra time is even more appreciated. I use the board for only family, to keep us together, and I'd be in big trouble without it! lol Have a great week/weekend! Pete
