I would like the members of my site who use saybox to use the password which they will be given and not guests using it.
The problem is I have put my password in Access in Administration section, ticked enabled and saved preferences but it is not working. Guests/members can post without using the password.
Is there a time limit as I went in a couple of hours later and it worked. What I am saying is perhaps you don't have to use the password every time you use saybox.
Thank you in advance for helping me.

The access password allows anyone who knows the password to post on the account. Once you've entered the password using your machine, a cooke is then set to remember that you know the password, so that you don't have to keep typing it in every time you post. This will allow you to use any name you want to, up until the session is over. You can also set passwords for indivudual names if that's a better option fo you. Finally, on some forum software we also offer features that lcok the name posted with to the name of the ologged in user, so if your shoutbo is on a forum, that may help you out a little as well.
