About Charmed

Charmed is a TV Show on WB Channel that started in 1998 and it is still going on, because of it's fame. It has reached one of the 10 most famous TV Shows on Earth.
It is about three sisters that have normal lives and go back to the house they grew up together. They find out that they are witches and they are the heir of magical powers to stop evil and protect innocents.
They are known as "The Charmed Ones" - the most powerful witches ever existing, and they have "The Power of Three".
They have to keep the secret, fight evil and continue their lives.
Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty) has the power of moving objects with her mind and astral projection, Piper Halliwell (Holly Marie Combs) has the power to freeze time and blow up objects and Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) has the power to view the future and levitation.
Piper marries Leo Wyatt (Brian Krause) that is the whitelighter (guardian angel) of The Charmed Ones.
In the third season, due conflicts between Shannen and Alyssa, Shannen leaves Charmed, breaking up The Power of Three.
And it continues when the girls discover their long lost half-sister (daughter of their mother and their mother's whitelighter) that reunites with them to once again restore The Power of Three and giving a new chance for The Charmed Ones. Paige Matthews (Rose McGowan) is the half-sister that has the power to orb things with her mind and has all the other Whitelighter powers, since she is half whitelighter.
Charmed still continues today, showing a brand new Season 8.

The Cast

Shannen Doherty

* Shannen Doherty was born on April 12, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee to parents Tom and Rosa.
* Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was seven and she tried to pursue a career as a child actress.
* Her first big beak was in 1981, when she appeared on two episode's of the popular TV series Father Murphy and was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress, Guest in a Television Series.
* The following year (1982) she landed a role as Jenny Wilder on Little House on the Prairie for its final season as well as the subsequent made for TV movies. She was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Drama Series in 1983 and again in 1984.
* She rose to fame in 1990 when she took on the role of Brenda Walsh in the smash TV series Beverly Hills 90210. She left the show at its height in 1994, supposedly due to controversy with Aaron Spelling, the shows producer.

This role disproved the allegations of her leaving Beverly Hills, since this is also produced by Spelling. However, she left the show in 2001, this time amidst controversy, but this time due to allegedly not getting along with co-star Alyssa Milano. Alyssa Milano was born in December of 1972 to Tom and Lin Milano. She has a younger brother Cory who has acted in some of Alyssa's movies.Alyssa's career started in 1980 when she landed a part of one of the orphans, June, in the musical Annie, which toured throughout the United States for 14 months. Hot on the heels of her success in the musical Annie, Alyssa next won the part of Adele in the musical version of Jayne Eyre and followed that with a role in Tender Offer at the New York Ensemble Studio Theatre. Alyssa next appeared in John O'Keefe's All Night Long at Manhattan's Second Stage Theatre.

Her feature film debut came in 1983 when she appeared in the movie Old Enough.Wanting to get into television, because she hadnt done that before, she started auditioning for some TV pilots. She went in for the role of Samantha Micelli without having read any script for the show she would star on for so long, Who's the Boss?. Obviously she got the part. In no time she was acting alongside veterans like Tony Danza, famous for his part on Taxi, and Katherine Helmond, famous for her part on Soap.

Who's The Boss? got picked up by ABC Television Network and debuted on September 20, 1984. Her father quit his job and moved to Los Angeles with Alyssa first, to be followed by her mom and brother after a few months. Her mother had a store that she closed to be there for Alyssa's career. After switching time slots a bit Who's the Boss?' became a huge hit.During the run of Who's the Boss? Alyssa ventured out into the movie world, appearing in the classic Schwarzenegger movie Commando, and in some teen-tv-movies (Crash Course, Dance 'Till Dawn).

Her detailed Biography:
Rose McGowan was born in Florence, Italy in 1975 and was raised in Italy on a commune of the Children of God cult. Her parents moved back to the United States when Rose was ten. They didn't want anything to do with American culture, however, and Rose had never spoken English until then. She had never seen a movie before either, and she wasn't even aware that movies and television existed. Her education was limited to "little schools where the kids laid around listening to Kurt Vonnegut." All the traditional education she recieved was from her mother. In spite of the atmosphere she grew up in, even from early on Rose was very un-hippie and never bought into that lifestyle. Rose left the commune when she was fifteen. She then worked in a variety of jobs, and often had to lie about her age to get them. She worked as a waitress, sales clerk, ticket taker and other minimum wage jobs. She was even forced to live on the streets for a while.

Her first acting opportunity was in 1992's Encino Man. After that, she waited another three years before being in another movie. Her next film was Gregg Araki's Doom Generation. Araki had met her outside a gym while she was in LA to attend arts school, and he decided to cast her in his Sundance entry. Although much of Rose's fame has come from her more commercial films like Biodome and Scream, most of her roles have been in independant films. While McGowan enjoys making movies, her first love is traditional art. Rather than creatin art (like her father), she would rather be a curator and revive museums. She feels that museums have become unfriendly to younger people, and dreams of opening them up so that the average person can connect with them.

Brian Krause February 1 1969

Actor Brian Krause has "charmed" his way into the otherworldly Halliwell household playing Leo, the resident guardian angel who married Piper (Holly Marie Combs).

Krause first rose to attention when he starred opposite Milla Jovovich in The Return to the Blue Lagoon. Shortly thereafter, he landed the lead role of Charles Brady in Stephen King's feline thriller Sleepwalkers. Additional features credits include Breaking Free with The WB's Jeremy London and Christine Taylor, Naked Souls with Pamela Anderson Lee, The Liars' Club with Wil Wheaton, and December costarring Balthazar Getty and Jason London. He also starred opposite Judd Nelson in the television thriller Return to the Cabin by the Lake.

In addition to his series regular work, Krause has made guest appearances on a number of shows including Walker, Texas Ranger and Tales From the Crypt, as well as a six-month stint as Matthew Cory on the daytime drama Another World.

Born and raised in Southern California, Krause enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball when he's not on the beach or playing Scrabble with friends and family.

Drew Fuller May 19 1980

Drew Fuller joins the cast of The WB hit series Charmed as Chris Perry, the Charmed Ones' new "Whitelighter" guardian angel.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Fuller was discovered by an agent when he was 12 years old after a family friend put him on the cover of UCLA magazine. After deciding to wait a few years, Fuller entered the modeling world at age 16 and quickly became a top model for such prestigious companies as Tommy Hilfiger, Prada and Club Med. His good looks helped him make the transition to commercials easily and he booked numerous spots, including J. Crew, Subway, Toyota and Pepsi opposite Britney Spears.

Fuller starred as the real-life criminal Rod Farrell in Vampire Clan. He played the drug-crazed killer who claimed he was a vampire and brutally murdered an innocent family in Florida in 1996. His next film, The One, just won the audience award at The Sundance Film Festival. Other film credits include Angels Don't Sleep Here and Close Call. He also appeared in The WB's drama Black Sash.

In his spare time, Fuller enjoys playing basketball, rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding and tennis. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his cat "The Chad."

Has anyone seen the latest Charmed eppies ? With that new girl ?

And here you have the main situation:
Piper had 2 kids with leo. Paige is now having whitelighter (guardin angel) problems, because she now has people to protect, and she does not know very well how.
Phoebe is having problems finding love.
A powerful demon (the bad guy) was released and he has many powers and knowlege. He took over their house that is protected by magic, but they had to kill him.
The cost of killing them, could take their own lives, so they made a plan.
They made "temporal clones" of them.
They killed him and everyone thinks they are dead.
So all the demons are not after them.
They changed their bodies into others.
They are starting a new life.
That's all i know till now.
I haven't seen the last episode.
But I know a girl finds out that they are alive and the fun and action starts all over again

I'll post more when I watch that episode

Anyone owns any DVD ?

I read through it, though, and it seems to be an interesting, confusing, confuzzling, all around strange series... and I like that kind of stuff (i.e. Lost)! I may check it out soon
