Organization and your computer

A thread that's common on many "Off Topic" boards is the ever dreaded post your desktop one. I don't want that though. I want to know the following:

Do you feel a need to keep your desktop organized, or maybe even iconless, and do you feel a need to change desktops often, or do you always keep the same one?

My desktop is something that really annoys me sometimes. I can never seem to get it right, and I think I have minor OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Right now, I have five icons on my desktop, each on the bottom of my screen, centered exactly with a custom made black desktop with a render in the middle. Thats it. Anymore than that and I might go mad!

How is your desktop? Do you keep it organized, or does it look like a junkyard?

i have icons everywhere at the moment, although every now and again i'll have a clean up and get rid of stuff. I even have mp3's and stuff on there at the moment that i'm supposed to stick in other folders I just can't be bothered :/ That said, whenever I do clean it up it's back to usual in about 2 days anyway

For the record, my background is the Aston Martin DBR9 Le Mans Car, it's awesome.

My icons are just set to the side of the screen, as auto-arrange places them. It's my windows that I organize. I have specific spots for each window that I have open, and specific sizes for my browser, etc. Hate having it any other way.
