Personally I don't have a problem with it if someone bumps up a thread from a while ago, as long as the reply they make is a/ relevant and b/ worth having brought up the original topic for. If someone went through and replied to every single thread in the board I might change my mind about that, but I'm not spending hours locking all the threads just in case someone decides to do that.

We currently aren't recruiting new forum staff, and on the rare occasion we have needed an extra mod, the process for choosing one involves a lot of bias (ie we tend to pick people we've known for a long time). Plus I still dont' see the need to lock threads tat aren't so recent.

Is November 2007 long enough for you, if you did need a Moderator? The reason for even asking that locking the threads was that..... I don't really want to see old posts bumped from 2007. Thats just me though... |
