Recently I've noticed a number of posts on the forum that do not contribute anything to the threads they're in.
"Spam" posting will not be tolerated here, whether you're a new member or one of those with a higher postcount.
If a member is causing problems or posting obvious spam, please do not reply to them. If you see a thread that needs locking, PM a staff member rather than posting in it.
Similarly, if you make posts which have no point to them other than to raise your postcount, you may find your postcount is lowered by a significant amount.
This applies in all boards, not just the Off Topic board.

I agree that the count has gone up alot over the past few weeks on spam posts. I apologize to others for replying to them; I will from here on PM admins and mods, as that is their job, and its not mine (or any other member's jobs) to contribute to those threads. Thanks for addressing this, Rene  |

Yes, and so funny and intriguing it is that most can spell "lol, ttyl, brb, bbl, etc." correctly, yet can not manage to type the simple words such as "the" correctly |

maybe if we summarised every single sentence we said into one big acronym it would work. HHAY? could be Hello, How Are You? etc etc
