Overview
This competition is being sponsored by Elixant webhosting, who have kindly donated the top prize.
Saybox are running a competition, the aim being to promote Saybox. All you need to do, as a minimum to enter, is link to the SayBox website, from your own website. However, the winner will be the person who makes the most effort to promote SayBox, especially on websites other than your own. You may link to or review SayBox on as many websites as you want.
The Competition
- The aim of this competition is to promote SayBox and the services we offer.
- The ipod will be awarded to the person the panel of judges feel has done most to promote SayBox up to the closing date of the contest.
- To enter, simply post a review, a link, or a banner for SayBox at any website (excluding SayBox itself) and reply in this thread giving a link to the webpage your entry appears on.
The Prize
- First prize in this competition is a 20gb ipod.
- One runner-up prize of 1,000,000 free ad impressions and 10,000 adfree pageviews will also be awarded.
The Entry Requirements
- All forum members are eligible for this contest, excluding staff.
- SayBox staff are not eligible to enter this competition.
- Elixant staff and associates are not permitted to enter this competition.
Entering
- The closing date of the competition is midnight on July 7th, 2005 (BST), and the competition winner will be announced within 2 weeks of this date.
- To enter, simply post a review, a link, or a banner for SayBox at any website (excluding SayBox itself).
- Please reply to this post and link to any SayBox promotional material which is yours to enter.
- There is no limit to the number of entries allowed from any one person, but please modify your post if you need to add further links, rather than making multiple posts in this thread.
- Any entry you submit must include evidence it belongs to you; for example if writing a review of SayBox you must include your SayBox or forum username.
Judging
- The winner and runner-up will be decided by a panel of judges comprising of the five SayBox staff along with one Elixant staff member.
- Entries considered "spam" or against the rules where posted will be disqualified. Please do not just spam the link to SayBox somewhere in an effort to win the competition as this may result in your SayBox account being revoked.
- Judging will not be on a "most entries wins" basis. We will be looking at the quality of each entry along with its worth in terms of promoting SayBox.
Your privacy
- The winner of the ipod will be required to supply a name and address for their prize to be shipped to.
- We will only request this from the winner after the competition has ended, and will not store or sell any of the address details given.
