Yay! Finally I have a real 6800! I updated my chipset drivers and I have a real nVIDIA GeForce 6800 128MB now! I used to have.. well.. I'd consider it basically solid waste only one of the names that is a curse word It used to say my 6800 was PCI 0X and AGP was disabled.. haha, well, now it says AGP 8X! So now my graphics card will work on the highest settings of all games I'm happy I still need a water cooling system and a new case though.

6800's are at very decent prices now the 7800's have been released. Got any benchmarks? I'm more of an ATi man myself For watercooling, I can definately recommend DangerDen - much better performing than Asetek or other kits! For radiators I can highly recommend ThermoChill - the PA160 is specially developed by one of the world's top watercooling experts ;D

Well I got my 6800 in November of 2004. Up until yesterday it was not a 6800. It was worse than a 5200 probably because my AGP was disabled. And the 5200 is one of the worst AGP cards (and PCI cards) out there It was still named 6800, just didn't perform like one. Now it finally is one Is the DangerDen thing a kit? That comes with everything that's needed, the tubing, all of that?

No, it's not a kit, but you'll get much better performance from hand picking your parts! using 1/2"ID tubing should also help lower your temps

Yeah - fair enough! Asetek are probably the best kits that you can buy outside the UK Keep us posted on how it goes (with pics if possible )!

How about cases? Would you suggest a full tower? I have a mid tower now and it's like really small

Yeah, I've got 2 full towers here - bought to keep the watercooling internal. You could have the radiator mounted on the outside of the case if you had a midi tower, but IMO it doesn't look anywhere nearly as nice Chieftec full towers are good for the job, if a little heavy. If you've got the money a LianLi case would be perfect!

I've just been to a LANParty over the weekend, where we watercooled a Pentium 166 with an S3 Virge PCI Graphics Card to see how far we could overclock it! ;D
