I think try the bckground with a solid color.
A darker shade of green maybe.
Personaly, I think that'd look better but it's your site.

I'm just saying that I PERSONALY would like the site better with a plain solid color rather than that box-type texture it has now.

that box-type tecture, is called the pixel look. and the reason its like that is because his whole layout is like that. therefore, taking off that background and making it solid would make it not match anymore

thanks for the comment you guys, i got a red version of that one that doesn't have grid.
i might be thinking of putting it up, with a style switcher.
