I offer this as constructive comments and hope that you not take offense to what I am about to say. It is a wonderful thing when we have the option to use custom images and graphics. It can however be too much. It can hinder the ability for one to focus on what is important or what we want to draw their attention to. The use images for background should be carefully considered. Sometimes chosing one that is not so clear is better. Watermark type is what I am talking about. An image that trys not to dominate. An image that quietly settles into the background. You have taken the option of using images a little too far. Please don't take offense at what I am about to say next because I say it to myself all the time. It is a method I try to use and live by. Have you ever heard of the "KISS" method? I'm sure some have...it stands for "Keep It Simple Stupid" The referce to stupid is not directed from me to you but simple an old quote that sometimes is very useful for all of us to be reminded of. You have a great theme for your forum and I am sure many fans and followers of the show would like to become members but make it more visualy inviting to them to join. If I have offended you in any way I truly am sorry...I only offer these comments as constructive critisism.  |
