What was your most terrifying night?
Mine was last Tuesday. It was during a severe thunderstorm. We have had big lightning strikes and big claps of thunder. The electricity went out at 7:30 PM EDT. We have thought that this would be short, but wasn't. I started to get the flashlights and candles ready for the night. I have tried to call my mother to tell her what happened. I got the operator saying that the service provider is down. I started to get thirsty. Me and my grandparents went out to get a drink. My grandfather needed gas. When we got out, there was no power. The traffic lights are out, Buffalo Plaza was shut down, the bank was closed. Cit-Go and Get-Go (gas stations) were both shut down. South Pike Cinemas (a movie theater) was all empty. My grandpa was on the way to Freeport when we noticed that a gas station formally known as Lyndon's was open. The police were there talking to the cashier about the power outages. One person who my grandma worked with was there. She said that Glass-Mart was on half power. We got our drinks and headed back home. I drank all of my drank an hour after we came back. I went up to my bedroom, and played with my Nintendo DS. At 11:30 PM EDT, the power came back on. I set all the clocks, and I was finally able to fall asleep.

I love power outages. For me, it means time to play board games and all w/ my family. I would have to say the most terrifying time of my life was yesterday. I, for that one day, decided to bicycle home from work. There is this big hill on the way home, and I was riding up it when a ford truck started coming down it. They had music blaring and all, so that made me a little edgy. Then, they swerved over to the side of the road I was riding on, and started coming head on to me. I kind of had a panic attack then, and acted like a deer caught in headlights. I honestly thought I was going to get hit/ killed. Anyway, as soon as this dude came a yard within me, he swerved back, flicked me off, honked the horn, and sped down the rest of the hill. I threw my bike in some bushes and ran the rest of the day home . That was the scariest moment of my life.
