SayBox is already the most advanced free remotely hosted shoutbox software currently available. However, there's always room for improvements to any software, and after taking note of all the suggestions made by SayBox users, coding of the third version of the SayBox software is underway. SayBox v3 will be a notable improvement over v2. It will include many features requested by members here, and is intended to be even easier to use and more customisable than the current version. To list all the features here would spoil the surprise, but a quick look through the sticky thread in the suggestions board should give you plenty of clues about what to expect. SayBox v3 will also offer users the opportunity to advertise over a wide range of sites with our new text link scheme. You can read more about this here. We have not yet set a release date for v3 as it is still very much in the development stages.

aww... no SBv3 discussion board? ....for people to mindlessly make threads asking when it will be out? No thanks, we can keep the discussion to this thread.

I look forward to the next version, even though this version fits my needs well.

I look forward to the next version, even though this version fits my needs well. If you're happy with the current version, then you'll be even more pleased with the new version.... it will have all the current features, plus a load of new ones, and be more userfriendly on the admin side of things
