Meh it wasnt as bad as I expected it to be LOL. The usualy cleaning, nothing bad, took maybe 30 minutes or so total to do everything... Maybe a little longer, probably not  lol But, i have 0 cavaties and might not need braces!  woo LOL Thing is, I rarely brush my teeth and i never get cavaties..My sister, on the other hand, almost next gets any cavaties, but one time she did, and she brushes her teeth like perfectly each night lol, she has some white ass teeth LOL And they are straight, not crooked, she had braces already And uhm o.o |

Braces aren't that bad. Just go once a month and get them adjusted. Towards the end they don't even hurt anymore.

I haven't been to the dentist since the one ruined my tooth. I can't really chew with it anymore, because it hurts after 3 or 4 years still.  |

I remember about 2 years ago, my dentist was jamming his scraper thing into the bottom of my mouth to make me open it more. I was closing my mouth more because he was doing this, as he never actually told me what he was doing (and it was hurting a LOT!!). The pain got so bad I actually pulled his hands out of my mouth!  |

Braces aren't that bad. Just go once a month and get them adjusted. Towards the end they don't even hurt anymore. Wow...it was the complete opposite for me. People were saying how much braces hurt and I didn't feel any pain until a few months before I got them off and they hurt like a bitch. |

Wow...it was the complete opposite for me. People were saying how much braces hurt and I didn't feel any pain until a few months before I got them off and they hurt like a bitch. Fixed braces are much better than removable / retainers. At least you can usually still talk normally! ;D It just takes one trip to the dentist to have it tightened, and they tighten it too much. That's when you're living off liquid food for the next few days (well you don't have to, just the easiest thing to do if it hurts that much) |

I never had a removable retainer. I have a permanent one that's glued behind my bottom and top teeth. It's so much better that way.  |

When I first got my braces they hurt BAD. Like three days after they tightened em they'd still hurt. then it went to one day, now they don't hurt when they're tightened!
