What would you do if you read someone's mind, and they were thinking about (for example) a school shooting? Would you leave them alone, in case it was just a thought and they weren't really going to act on it, but risk not stopping it from happening?

Hmm..well I would hope that if I could read mind I would also be able to interpret the intensity and their belief in what they are thinking..if it was like.."omg I'm so angry at myself I want to die" you could tell they really don't mean it and it was just said due to their momentary anger. But ya if they said "so tomorrow is the day I have been planning on for the last three months. I am def going to set a bomb in the boys change room, which is the center most location in the school (and you can hear them thinking they have the bomb ready and everything) and i'll have it go off at 9:00a.m." then..ya i would be like ok 911!
