On a more serious note, I can't wait for England to go out depressingly early so we can see what excuses we make this year.
Prediction : Costa Rica will beat Germany today and miraculously go on to win

Psh, every 4 years it gets said "England have got their strongest chance of winning since the 1966 squad". Then we go out in like the quarter final or the group stage and then say "oh the sun was in our eyes" :/
And frankly, while Ronaldihno holds a Brazilian passport I don't think we'll be winning the world cup

I had an exam all afternoon while the England game was on  Luckily it turns out I didn't miss much. It will be interesting to see what excuses they make next game as according to Gary the rest of the games are in the evening. |

I'm watching it this year. I tivo'd that US vs Czech Republic game and watched it once I got home from school. They didn't play too good. |

I've been surprised at myself for being so into the world cup o.o I didn't think I'd ever find a sport I actually enjoy watching, but these games have really fascinated me ;D What did you all think of Ukraine's whomping today by Spain? They were pathetic For those that didn't get to watch it, Ukraine lost 4 nill |

Yeah, I'm thinking Spain has a good chance of winning. They have great teamwork and they all seem to really rely on the other members. ESPN was going on about Ukraine losing because it was too hot I was like "and I'm sure they didn't train for that before  " |
