Unless you live in a cave you will have heard about this by now. I can only express my deepest sympathy for anyone involved in this tragedy, and personally i hope they catch the people responsible for this, surgically remove their limbs and leave them to rot in a small cell whilst feeding them Intra-veinously to prevent suicide.
Perhaps it would deter other people from doing the same.
Oh, and big up to the emergency services, if they hadn't actually been organised it could have been a lot worse.

Terrible news and there were reports that a further 2 unexploded bombs were also found. Coventry city centre and a busy part of Birmingham were also evacuated at one point, although I think those turned out to be false alarms. I would also like to express my sympathy for anyone caught up in the events.

ya same. but theres 1 thing i'd like 2 point out. they imediately suspected it was a terrorist attack. they never thought of the fact that it could be anti-royaltists that did it. hm?

Well personally, I think it's pretty safe to assume it was a terrorist attack.

Strictly thats still a form of terrorism, and I highly doubt it was, as sure some form of anti-royalist attack would actually affect the royal family in some way. While we're looking at other crazy possibilities, perhaps the French Olympic Committee didn't take too kindly to losing :/

Horrible thing I think it's pretty obvious that it was timed to coincide with the G8 Summit. It must have taken a lot of planning

It's a real shame, I'm shocked but not surprised Now whenever I see London (did yesterday as was travelling south) I remember the bombs.. A two minute silence is to be held on this coming Thursday to remember the people who died in the atrocity. Birmingham city centre saw 20,000 people evacuated last night because of a bomb scare there. People are questioning if the people should have been evacuated, but I believe it's much better to take precautions if there is any risk of another terrorist attack.

I think we'll be seeing a lot more alerts in the future. People will report every unattended bag or suspicious looking package, and of course the police will have to take it seriously. I think last night in Birmingham it was a false alarm, but better safe than sorry.
