 Question, Adding a Game
« Thread Started on May 29, 2009, 9:03pm »

Question,

I have been trying to upload games in which I have a direct link to.

I add my direct link where it should go, but when I try to upload the game it makes me also fill in the following:

Game ID:
Game Title:
Game Width:
Game Height:
Preview:

I know how to fill in every except the Preview thing, I have no clue how to do it or even where to start. I need detailed instructions on how to do that.

I need some help please……

Thanks,
-Joe

Moved to the right board :)

The preview is very easy. It should just be a preview image of the game (usually somewhere around 50px by 50px to 100px by 100px). If you don't already have a preview image, you can take one yourself! Go here to learn how to do that. Good luck! If you need any more help, just post back.

Alright,

I now have the screen shot in Microsoft Paint. How can I get it so only the small image square I want for the preview is the only thing there and not all the other stuff taken in the screen shot?

Thanks,
-Joe

Select all (Ctrl+A if youre on a Windows computer), then move the part that you want to the top left of the picture....then just crop it down to size. Grab the bottom right corner and drag it so that it fits the part of the picture that you want. Sort of hard to explain, but yeah :D

Oh and by the way, if your image is too big, it'll be automatically resized when you upload the game.

Thanks!

I'll try that and report back here if I experience any new problems. :)
